What Are Web Accessibility Requirements?

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2 consist of several recommendations for making all content on a website accessible to individuals with visual and audial impairments. The focus is on the significant portion of the population with blindness, low vision, deafness and hearing impairments, learning disabilities, cognitive limitations, and other disabilities that impair the use of desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. In general, the guidelines make websites more useful for all users as well. For more details, please visit the W3C WCAG guidelines website Opens in new window.
